Welcome to Bodhi Artisans, a handmade decor brand committed to providing soulful, nature-inspired creations. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our website or purchasing our products. Your use of our services implies your acceptance of these Terms.
1. General Overview

2. Eligibility (Section 11, Indian Contract Act, 1872)
You must be legally competent to enter into a binding contract under Indian law. If you are under 18, parental consent is required to use our platform.

3. Product Descriptions & Pricing (Section 2(7), Sale of Goods Act, 1930)
Products listed are described with the best accuracy and transparency.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but you will never be charged more after placing an order.
4. Order Acceptance & Payment
Orders become binding once accepted and paid.
Payment Gateway: All transactions are processed securely per the Reserve Bank of India’s Payment Aggregator Guidelines.
Fraudulent transactions are subject to penal action under Section 66D of the IT Act, 2000.
5. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping timelines are estimations and may vary.
We are not responsible for delays due to force majeure, courier issues, or incorrect address submissions.
6. Return, Refund & Exchange Policy (Section 17, Consumer Protection Act, 2019)
We do not accept returns unless the product is damaged or defective.
You must report damage within 3 days of delivery with proof (photos).
Refunds, if applicable, will follow guidelines under Section 49 of the Consumer Protection Act for redressal.
7. Intellectual Property (Trademarks Act, 1999)
All brand names, product designs, images, and content are owned by Bodhi Artisans and protected under Indian IP law.
Unauthorized use is punishable under Sections 103 and 104 of the Trademarks Act.
8. Privacy & Data Protection (Sections 43A & 72A, IT Act, 2000)
Your data is secure and never sold to third parties.
We comply with reasonable security practices as required by law.
Data storage and usage are governed by upcoming Digital Personal Data Protection Act (once enacted).
9. User Obligations (Indian Penal code + IT Act)
You agree not to:
Upload harmful content or misuse our platform (Section 66 of IT Act).
Impersonate or create false identities (Section 419 IPC).
Attempt to hack or interfere with our systems (Section 66C, 66F of IT Act).
10. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our maximum liability is limited to the value of the product purchased.
11. Dispute Resolution
Disputes will be settled amicably or referred to consumer court or civil court in Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
You may also approach the Online Consumer Mediation Centre (OCMC).
12. Termination of Use
We reserve the right to suspend or block user access for violations of these Terms or legal misuse.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by Indian law. All legal matters will be subject to jurisdiction in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, as per Section 20, CPC (Civil Procedure Code), 1908.
